Every time I prepare everything that I need for my cookie decorating class I feel like I am a little girl who is incredibly excited, anticipating her birthday party. In return I enjoy curious and happy faces during the class and I feel like attendees feel pretty much as kids at that moment.
We are so busy these days that we forget how important it is to feed your inner child and to let him play. Do you remember that feeling of joy when you created something beautiful and were so proud of yourself? I hope you do! This feeling brings you on a higher level of your curiosity, motivation, and feeds your inspiration. For this reason most of my students share their new knowledge with their families and friends afterwards, wishing other people to feel the same way, spending fun and quality time with their kids.
You never know how much happiness baking and decorating may bring you until you try. You should see the little ones’ faces while they are decorating cookies! The kids jump into the process so quickly, they forget about the time. One cookie after another, they want more and more of decorating, piping, sprinkles, etc. My best reward is seeing how proud they are of themselves in the end and how they can’t wait to show what they have made to their parents!
That’s why I call it “Sharing LOVE“. I’m always in touch with participants of my workshops and encourage them to take pictures of their creations and share them with me and others. Sharing good experiences brings you more and more new ones that you will be surprised and happy to meet!
